TODAY: Idiot Pilot Show!
Posted on 29. Jan, 2010 by Joel in Gigs
Tomorrow, Idiot Pilot will be emerging from the darkness to see the light of day in order to perform at the What’s Up Pre-Award Show!
I’m pretty stoked, (though I can’t go) because this will be the first time in a long while since Idiot Pilot have played together. As of late there has been a lot of quietness coming from the band . I can comfortably tell you guys, and it may disappoint some, that there will be no music off their upcoming album played at this show, but I’m sure the event will rock as always even despite that.

It would be cool to go, but unless I can bust a move by to(morrow)night, I don’t see myself going. They best win some awards.

I have a feeling they will. I’m curious is Daniel will be winning any awards for The Ghost and the Grace.

He definitely should. I don't remember which category it was, but the one where Idiot Pilot AND The Ghost And The Grace were both options left me torn. I voted for TGATG for that one though since it's just starting out. But they could both use some lovin'.

Ha. I never ended up voting but that would have been a sticky decision!

The show was good, Idiot Pilot came and delivered. TGATG won best Moniker at the What’s Up! Awards last night.

That’s awesome! Did you happen to record any videos or audio from that night? People might be interested in seeing a bit of what went down.

I didn’t get any vid/audio but there were a bunch of photographers there. Here’s some photos from Paul Israel:

Thanks a bunch man! And if you guys were “following” this comment thread, sorry for the crap ton of emails sent out. I was approving and unapproving comments trying to delete a duplicate and it made it send a bunch of “new comments” emails out.
